Apartment / Flat for Rent Overview
If you are looking to stay off the tourist track, then this apartment is for you. A typically authentic Parisian neighborhood. It is located off one of Paris' best kept secret streets: The rue de la Gaité is full of small restaurants (big choice, though) and small theaters with plenty of action and animation day and night. Of course, the fact that the apartment is in an "Impasse" (dead-end street) means that it is very quiet, despite the animated street. Nearby, you'll also find the Boulevard Edgard Quinet, with its famous cafés and twice-weekly open market. And the Monoprix there is offers one of the finest selection of food products in Paris. You feel like going to the movies? Montparnasse offers a large selection in English, and it is only five minutes away. Feel like indulging in finer foods? La Coupole or le Dôme are also two blocks away.
This is not our fanciest property but you'll find it is one of the most fun to live in and a great value. It is also our only smoking one. The apartment is located on the third floor (fourth US) with elevator, and it is very quiet with lots of light piercing through its large windows. Both bedrooms and living room are spacious. There's a shower and a separate toilet.
As for transportation, you have a large choice of buses and metros, only one block away, with the Edgard Quinet metro station being the closest to the apartment.
