A finished, 2-bedroom apartment in one of the most exclusive districts of Paris, such as the 6th or 7th arrondissements, would cost between $800,000 and $1 million. A 1-bedroom apartment would be worth $500,000-$700,000. Add to that the initial registration costs (5%-7.5%), furnishings, and yearly management and maintenance fees. Comparatively speaking, a $300,000 investment in Paris right now would probably buy you a tiny 30sqm studio apartment.
